Hoops College is partnering with Burke County Parks and Recreation to provide skills and recruiting clinics to basketball players in that area.  Sessions will be held for youth players (ages 5-11), middle school and high school players.  Players may attend as many sessions as they would like.  The schedule for each day will be

8:30 – 9:30 Youth session (elementary school)
10:00 – 11:00 Youth session (elementary school)
11:30 – 12:30 Youth session (elementary school)
1:00 – 3:00 Middle School Boys & Girls
3:30 – 6:30 High School Boys & Girls

High School players who attend all 3 sessions will receive free lifetime access to Hoops College Basketball Recruiting 101.

Description

Parents must sign liability waivers by visiting the Burke County Parks and Recreation building or by attending their child’s first session.

Youth Sessions 

  • One hour sessions with focus on individual and team fundamentals
  • Week 1: Starting, stopping, and pivoting
  • Week 2: Passing and Catching
  • Week 3: Ball Handling

Middle School sessions

  • 2 hour session with on court and classroom sessions/recruiting introduction
  • Week 1: Starting and stopping, pivoting, getting open, passing and catching/Evaluating your game and your fit
  • Week 2: Ball Handling and Shooting/What’s Important to You and Why
  • Week 3: Spacing, ball movement, and player movement/How Recruiting and Scholarships Work

High School sessions 

  • 3 hour program with on court and classroom sessions/recruiting seminars
  • Week 1: Starting and stopping, pivoting, getting open, passing and catching/Evaluating your game and your fit
  • Week 2: Ball Handling and Shooting/What’s Important to You and Why
  • Week 3: Spacing, ball movement, and player movement/How Recruiting and Scholarships Work
  • *Attend all 3 and receive free lifetime access to Hoops College Basketball Recruiting 101
