Hoops College Challenge

Hoops College Challenge – Beginning September 26th – Ends November 5th

1. Jump Rope – 150 in 1:00 minute 

* If you got the jump rope part last challenge your number is 175 in 1:00 minute 

* HS players your number is 200 in 1:00

2. Wall-Sit – 2:00 minutes straight ages 10 & under / 3:00 minutes straight ages 11 & up

3. Plank – 45 seconds for ages 10 & under / 60 seconds ages 11 & up

4. Push-Ups – See chart A for standard based on age & gender 

5. Shuttle Test – See chart B for standard based on age & gender

Chart A – Push-ups (have a partner hold at the wrists so shoulders touch their hands in the down position. Athlete must complete all reps consecutively without a break.

Chart B – Shuttle Test – 30 Foot distance – Place two light objects 30 feet away from athlete – athlete must sprint to object pick it up – sprint back to start line & drop object – sprint out to  pick up 2nd object & sprint back to start line. Athlete sprints total of 120 feet continuous (a basketball court is 74 feet in middle school so less than 2 trips)
